يلتقى الأصدقاء الثلاثة الذين تجمعهم معا مشكلة العثور على شقة ، كمال الفنان 
المثال الذى يأمل فى العثور على اتيليه له ينفذ فيه تمثاله وتتم خطبته من مديحة ،
 بينما يحاول صديقه الثانى المهندس شيف العثور على شقة من أجل السكن فيها هو 
وزوجته منى التى يحبها منذ سبع سنوات حيث أنهما يعانيان من عدم وجود إتمام 
زواجه من نجوى ، يعثر الأصدقاء الثلاثة على شقة مفروشة ، يتفقون فيما بينهم على 
تبادل الشقة من أجل اتمام كل منهم مشروعه ، وفى شقة واحد تتصادم رغبات 
الأشخاص الستة ، فضلاً عن البواب الطماع الذى يحاول استغلالهم فى قضاء 
حاجياتهم ، لكن صاحب العمارة يقرر أن يطردهم بعد ان عرف أنهم يتناوبون فى 
الإقامة بها ، ليعودوا إلى الشارع مرة ثانية ويسعون للبحث عن شقة أخرى .
